The Force Awakens takes place after Return of the Jedi, which came out in 1983. This is perhaps my favorite Star Wars fact. There was also this super-annoying character named Jar Jar Binks. Jackson played Mace Windu, and there was this really cool villain named Darth Maul. Some of you have an encyclopedic knowledge of the Fett bloodline and can tell Wookies apart by how their fur is braided. Some of you have queued up and watched the other six Star Wars films in preparation for this momentous occasion. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters this weekend.
